It's finally time to start making some of our favorite fall foods! The leaves are starting to turn and some places have even gotten snow! After a chilly day of yard work, I know I'm going to want something warm waiting so I'll be using the crockpot on Saturday. We have enrichment classes for homeschool, plus errands on Friday, so I'll make sure dinner is something prepped in advance like Mexican Lasagna! Hy-Vee had a great pork bundle on sale this week with fuel rewards, so I'll throw some of that in too. Planning my meals around what we have going on & the local sales help me stay on budget and avoid fast food.
Dinner Recipes:
Spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, salad, and cheesy garlic bread
Dessert Recipes:
I have a few new dessert recipes for you to try out. They are all delicious and I promised the kids we could make them again this week.
Pumpkin Butterscotch Bars – might try a different topping this week
Want to see our breakfast, lunch, and snack plan for the week? I've posted them over on Savvy Shopper Central!
