Homemade Hot Pocket Recipes

I love quick & easy foods, but I hate all the processed ingredients that along with them.  By making copies of our favorites at home, I’m able to create versions that are more satisfying and nutritious.  Hot pockets were one of my favorite convenience foods in the days before I learned to cook.  It's so easy to just throw them into the microwave for a couple of minutes!  A couple months ago, I fell in love with homemade hot pockets & posted about my Broccoli & Chicken Hot Pockets. We love variety so I had to hunt down some other filling combinations. I even found a recipe for whole wheat pockets and some for breakfast!

Hot pockets make a great freezer food. Just follow the recipe directions, let them cool, and place them on a cookie sheet & throw in the freezer for at least an hour.  Once they are frozen, place them in a freezer bag (labeled with recipe & date) for up to 6 months. To reheat from frozen, just throw in the microwave for 2:30-3:30 minutes.
