Do you want to treat someone you love to a new piece of jewelry on Valentine’s Day? If so, take a look at these 5 ways to save on Valentine’s Day jewelry. You can still snag the quality pieces you love for less when you give these shopping strategies a try! Here is how you can get started.

Ways To Save On Valentines Jewelry

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate your love for your girlfriend/boyfriend, partner/spouse and it's easy to want to express that love in a very expensive way, because you know they are worth more than money and gifts could possibly show.  Luckily, you don't have to go broke to get them something really special this year with these money-saving tips!

5 Ways to Save on Valentine’s Day Jewelry

1. Consider refurbished pieces.
Many jewelers offer refurbished pieces that were previously owned but have since been made to look like new. They are often cleaned, repaired, and the setting may even be changed. Consider a refurbish piece and get something that looks like new for less.

2. Trade in what you no longer use.
Take your old gold and silver with you to the jewelers. They will be happy to give you cash for it, or even a generous store credit that can be used towards your purchase. Not only will you get rid of something old, but it can help you get something new!

3. Don’t overlook crafters and artisans.
Are there any local jewelry makers in your area? You might be able to find a great deal with them. Don’t forget about sites such as Etsy as well, where you can order custom jewelry pieces that your recipient is sure to love.

4. Wait until the few days before the holiday.
Prices are sure to be at their lowest the 48 hours before Valentine’s Day. Browse local jewelers at this time and then strike while the deals are hot.

5. Don’t forget to haggle.
Most jewelry shops will give you a lower price if you ask for it. If you pay cash, you may be able to get a heftier discount than if you pay with credit. When you find a piece you love, ask if that is the best price they can do.

You can still find quality jewelry pieces at a great price when you give these tips a try. See how they work for you!
