Ingredients

  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ

Instructions

  • Combine eggs, raisins, and vanilla. Cover and let stand for one hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream butter and sugars.
  • Add flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda to creamed sugar mixture.
  • Stir until combined.
  • Mix in the egg and raisin mixture.
  • Add oatmeal and wheat germ.
  • Stir until combined.
  • Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
