6 Essential Oils  to Use for  Muscle Pain

Most people suffer from having sore achy muscles at least occasionally from - a long day at the office  - overdoing it at the gym  - picking up the kids - sleepy funny - breathing

Here are six essential oils to use for muscle pain. Use alone or create blends with another essential oil for a powerful, yet relaxing combination.

Oregano Essential Oil has  has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that have been shown to  reduce muscle inflammation, swelling, and pain.

Lavender has relaxing properties as well as having analgesic properties and works quite well with oregano oil!

Sweet Birch and Wintergreen are perfect to add to your massage carrier oil to soothe the tension out of your muscles, alone or together. Warning: NEVER use oils containing methyl salicylate on children. See post for more info.

Rosemary is an antispasmodic, which means it can help end those painful charley horses in the middle of the night!

Thyme is can be used for muscle pains and cramps.  It works best when combined with another oil, such as rosemary.
