Stuffed Manicotti with Meat

One of our favorite meals is stuffed manicotti with meat because it's great for the whole family. I like to use Italian sausage for flavour but its yummy with ground beef too!

- Manicotti - Italian sausage - Frozen spinach - Fire-roasted tomatoes - Oregano - Garlic - Marinara - Mozzarella Feel free to substitute your favorite ground meat for the Italian sausage if you aren't a fan. You can also use a combination of cheeses, fresh spinach, or add some bell pepper!

Ingredients:

In large skillet mix together sausage, spinach, roasted tomatoes, oregano and minced garlic. Heat through over medium high heat for 5-6 minutes.

Remove from heat. Add mozzarella. Stuff each manicotti. Layer into bottom of pan. Cover manicotti with pasta sauce.

Sprinkle top with remaining mozzarella cheese. If freezing for later, cover with plastic wrap & then foil.

To bake, remove any covering. Bake at 350ºF/180ºC for 45 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and fully melted.
