Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These old-fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies are made with classic ingredients and a hint of spice.  They make a perfect holiday cookie, or you can enjoy them any time of the year.

I'll admit, I'm totally biased when I call these the BEST oatmeal raisin cookies

INGREDIENTS

– Eggs – Vanilla – Raisins – Butter – Brown Sugar – Sugar – All-Purpose Flour – Salt – Cinnamon – Baking Soda – Old Fashioned Oats – Wheat Germ

Combine eggs, raisins, and vanilla. Cover and let stand for one hour. Cream butter and sugars.

Add flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda to creamed sugar mixture. Stir until combined.

Mix in the egg and raisin mixture. Add oats and wheat germ. Stir until combined.

Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.

Do NOT overbake! Slide parchment paper with cookies on cooling rack.
