Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Imagine meaty chunks, soft potatoes, and carrots simmered to perfection in a flavorful sauce.  This recipe delivers just that.

Spend just a few minutes preparing the ingredients, toss them into your slow cooker, and let the cooker slowly braise everything to perfection.

Vegetable Oil Onion Garlic Flour Pepper Salt Worcestershire

Beef Roast Beef Broth Carrot Celery Potatoes Tomato Juice

Ingredients:

Start by heating vegetable oil in a skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat until it shimmers, showing it's ready for cooking.

1

Season your flour then use to coat the beef cubes.

2

Sauté garlic and onion until the onions become translucent.  Remove and then brown the chunks of beef, before transferring to the slow cooker.

3

Deglaze your pan and then add everything to your slow cooker. Allow the stew to cook and simmer for about 8-10 hours.

4

Once your stew is ready, stir well and serve hot. Pair with crusty bread or serve in a bread bowl!
