Chocolate Salted  Caramel Bars

1 9x13" pan



– Unsalted butter – Sugar – Light corn syrup – Sweetened condensed milk – Chocolate bar – Coarse sea salt

Combine the caramel ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stir & bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, stirring constantly, until lightened & thickened. Pour into a greased 9×13 bread pan.  Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Add the chocolate, butter, and corn syrup in a heat-safe bowl. Melt over a pan of hot water, until mixture is smooth and glossy. Pour the chocolate over the chilled caramel. Allow mixture to cool before sprinkling course sea salt over the top. Serve chilled – this dessert melts easily!
