Sea Buckthorn Products

As part of Spa for Ma 2012, I worked with some amazing sponsors.  One of my favorites is Sibu Beauty.  They sent this amazing pack for me to review.

Revitalize & Renew:  Revitalize & Renew is a liquid supplement, designed to improve beauty from the inside out. It is a great source of Omega-7 fatty acids that promote healthy skin, hair, and nails, as well as a Omega 3, 6, and 9. It may also be a way to prevent weight gain.

During the 2 weeks I was drinking it, I lost two pounds. The only change I made was drinking approximately 2 ounces of Revitalize & Renew per day and drinking an additional 8 ounces of water per day. It is supposed to be a delicious way to begin & end each day, according to their site. I happen to disagree, but my oldest son tried a sip and thought it was juice, so it might just be me. I love how all the ingredient names are things I can pronounce. The main ingredient is Sea Buckthorn fruit puree.

Cleanse & Detox Bar:  The Cleanse & Detox bar has a thick lather that helps moisturize & protect your skin against damaging free radicals. It leaves skin feeling clean and soft. It is paraben-free and cruelty-free, and contains NO dairy, wheat, gluten, sodium, yeast or preservatives.

Seed Oil:  I had never used an oil on my face before and was a bit nervous. It recommends you use dime sized amount before bed, but I started with a pea size amount. I was expecting to wake up with my face all oily, but it had absorbed nicely.  Sibu Seed Oil is used to treat acne, eczema, burns, and promote youthful skin. When I burnt my hand, I applied a drop to the burn and it seems to have cut down on that nasty burn itch I normally deal with.Sea Buckthorn Lotion & Serum

Hydrating Serum:  This lightweight serum was designed for all skin types. I've tried a lot of “non-oily” lotions, moisturizers and serums before and have been disappointed every time.  I hadn't found any that I could wear during the day without having that shiny look going on, until now.  I can actually wear this under my makeup or even without makeup without an issue!

Repair & Protect:  This sea buckthorn lotion is similar to the serum, although a little heavier. It doesn't feel greasy, but I prefer the serum for everyday wear because of the smell. It has a light citrus scent that is great alone but smells terrible with my favorite perfume.

I will definitely be using Sibu Beauty products in the future & already know I'll have to keep my mother supplied with the serum, since she “borrowed” mine…without returning it.

I was provided with this Sibu Beauty set free of charge in exchange for my honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
