I haven't been planning our meals this last month and it shows!  Our food budget has slowly crept up, my stockpile has shrunk, and we did the fast food thing WAY too many times. So, I decided to break out my meal planning sheets and go hunting for some new recipes to throw in with our favorites.  Since the weather can't make up its mind here, I'm doing a mix of warm weather and cool season meals.

Here are just a few of the delicious things I'm considering adding to our menu for next week:

Pumpkin scones with spiced glaze

These Pumpkin Scones with a spicy glaze & icing look like a very nice way to start the day.

Roasted Tomatoes & Zucchini with Basil & Garlic

Roasted Tomatoes & Zucchini – I think this would be great on a crusty bread, smeared with pesto!

Turkey Taco Salad

Taco Salad – A healthy version made with ground turkey and a yogurt sauce.

Yeast-Free Pizza Dough Recipe

  Chicken and Dumplings

I'm going to try making this Easy Chicken & Dumplings recipe and throwing a second batch into the freezer for another week.

Chicken Tortilla Casserole

I love one dish meals. It was designed for two so I'll have to triple it, but this Chicken Tortilla Casserole is a definite must for next week!

Strawberry Rhubarb Tart with Almond Crust

Chocolate Marbled Pavlova with Strawberries

Chocolate Pavlova with Strawberries – I can't believe how little hands on time this requires and you could do it with other types of fruit!

Halloween Treats - Graveyard Cupcakes

These Graveyard Cupcakes are sure to be a bit hit this Halloween.  My DS6 is already excited about eating, I mean MAKING, them.

 Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

My cousin makes cookies like these Peanut Butter Cup Cookies every year for the holidays.  Now I don't have to wait until December!

Have a favorite recipe you'd like to share, leave a link in the comments & I may try it out next week!
