Epsom salt is a great way to increase your magnesium level, through a bath salt like this or a nice salt scrub, without taking a pill. Magnesium deficiency is extremely common and a contributing factor for many health issues.

Use this scrub and a nice long soak (at least 20 minutes) in an Epsom salt bath a few times a week.  One the days I don't have time to soak, I use this nifty magnesium spray. I've noticed it works amazingly for my restless leg syndrome too!

We love this homemade lemon bath salt because it is a perfect way to detox and revitalize after a long day at work.  If you plan to give this as a gift, grab some nice glass jars at your local dollar store.

Add a ribbon and a label with ingredients and product name and you have a simple and cost-effective gift that will leave your friends and family feeling special and pampered.

For a little extra flair, you can add a drop of food coloring to the bath salt to tint it.  These homemade products are some of our favorites since they are so budget-friendly and truly useful for helping us feel better.

As you start using more and more essential oils in your daily life, you'll realize how much better they make you feel versus the many store-bought products out there you are used to using.

From homemade bath salts and scrubs to lotions, shampoos, and cleansers, you can customize your own products easily with basic core ingredients and some simple essential oil blends.

While this is a lemon bath salt, you could easily make it a citrus blend by adding orange or tangerine essential oil in the mix.  A drop of lavender is another great choice for making this a special soothing detox bath salt soak.
