Tummy Soothing Mint Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 handful of fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil, using a small saucepan.
  • Add the fresh mint leaves.
  • Remove from heat & let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain and serve.

Notes

To skip the straining step, use a tea ball! I make enough tea that I have several and really prefer the ones that come with a drip stand. You could also use a tea kettle to boil the water so everything can be done in a mug, if you are drinking it warm. To serve cold (or lukewarm for little kids), you can serve it over ice or refrigerate.
