Slow Cooker Applesauce

slow cooker applesauce
Slow cooker applesauce is a great way to use up all those extra apples you snagged on sale! Simply toss everything in your slow cooker and stir occasionally – it's that easy!  I've been known to throw everything into the crockpot right before bed, stir, and stir again in the morning.  It's great alone, with a little whipped topping, or as an Applesauce Sundae!

Slow Cooker Applesauce

Makes 3 pints This recipe can be easily doubled and frozen. I use mason jars and leave a 1/2-inch headspace). Will last 2 weeks in the refrigerator, and 6 months in the freezer.
