  • Sea Salt
  • 1-2 Ripe bananas
  • Honey
  • Cornmeal
  • 1-2 Avocado
  • 1-2 Citrus Fruits (orange, lemon, or lime)
  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Fork
  • Glass storage containers with lids (for storing any finished product)
  • Essential Oils

If you are planning to use essential oils in your homemade sugar scrub, please remember to use a dark glass container to store them and keep them out of direct sunlight.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp light olive oil
  • 1 tbsp course sea salt

Directions:
You will be amazed at the simplicity of this recipe. Just mix the ground coffee with sugar and sea salt. Add the olive oil and stir well. Apply the mixture to damp skin and massage in gently. Rinse with warm water when done. Avoid eyes.

Brown Banana Sugar Scrub

Don’t toss those nutrient-rich brown bananas. Put them in this scrub instead! It will refresh your face and even soothe irritated skin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
